In the beginning:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth; and it was so. Genesis 1:11
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:12
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 1:29
Inspite of the cold nights, the long awaited Spring is finally starting to come forth here in the Northeast and the earth is starting to bloom with beautiful spring perennial flowers, trees and green grass as we leave another winter behind us. Watching the earth renew itself as our Creator has designed it to be is a sight to behold, and the wonder of it all never ceases to amaze me with each new Spring season.
This is such a refreshing and joyous time to be thankful for as the farmers and locals are eagerly anticipating, planning and preparing their gardens and crops for another harvest to share with the local community at the Farmer’s Market in their respective area.
The birds are even happy, chirping away at 5:00 a.m. as if to say: “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!”
And this little guy, (one of my passions) TeddyBear, “Bear” for short, my mini long haired Doxie is loving every minute of experiencing his first spring snooping around and finding so many new things to explore outside to get into!
